We would like to announce that Quintijn Kat recently defended his PhD thesis, which was passed by his examiners without corrections. Quintijn’s thesis was titled ‘On the Basis of Consent: Subordinate-state Agency and US Hegemony in Latin America (1990-2010), and he worked under Professor Kevin Middlebrook as his primary supervisor an Dr Tony McCulloch as secondary supervisor. Congratulations are in order for Quintijn on his outstanding achievement!
