Sinha Sayan, current PhD student
Being a part of UCL and especially the Institute of Archaeology has been a great honour for me. The Institute's commitment and encouragement for innovative and novelty in research, has facilitated my ambitions as an early career researcher. The expertise of my supervisors and the plethora of laboratory facilities of the Institute of Archaeology, has enabled me to develop cutting edge methodology, for addressing, a unique yet unexplored terrain in South Asian protohistory.
Simran Kaur, MA Archaeology graduate
UCL Institute of Archaeology helped me turn my dream of becoming an archaeologist into a reality. Coming from a country with a rich archaeological heritage, I had always wanted to work towards conserving India’s vulnerable heritage and make it accessible to everyone. My MA in Archaeology at UCL made me strive harder to achieve that goal by constantly pushing my boundaries. From learning under some of the best professors to engaging in insightful discussions with my peers, the Institute of Archaeology equipped me with a skillset that has made me a better person both professionally and personally. The Institute of Archaeology will forever be my home where my journey as an archaeologist truly began!
