This combined honours course gives you comprehensive training in both geography and economics. You’ll develop expertise in social, economic, and environmental issues using advanced research tools. The International pathway includes a year abroad at a partner university and requires a Year One average of 60% or above.
Foundations in geography and economics. Core modules cover micro and macroeconomics, environmental economics, digital economies, urban studies, and development issues.
Advanced methods and specialisation. Build disciplinary skills in economics and geography, including options in environmental, urban, and development studies.
Year abroad at an approved partner university, gaining international academic and cultural experience.
Specialised modules in economics (urban, environmental, development, finance) and geography (finance, migration, housing), with the flexibility to study topics from both disciplines for a multidisciplinary approach.
