Alumni Network
UCL Geography’s alumni network of 3,000+ graduates stays connected through reunions, careers events, and supporting the next generation of geographers.
Reunions and Alumni Gatherings
From College reunions to nostalgic field trips, our alumni gatherings help keep the UCL Geography community connected across generations.
Alumni reunions, dating back to the 1960s, are regularly held at UCL or in welcoming venues nearby. These events revive friendships often begun during field classes, and some have even taken place at nostalgic sites such as Swanage and the Forest of Dean.
We’re always happy to arrange visits to UCL for alumni groups wishing to catch up on developments in the Department. While reunions are usually initiated by former students, the Department and the UCL Alumni Relations team can help with contacts and College arrangements.

Fieldwork matters
Fieldwork is at the heart of Geography. But rising costs mean many students struggle to take part fully.
The UCL Geography Student Fieldwork Fund helps ensure all students can access transformative field experiences. Your gift supports those facing financial hardship, covering costs for field courses and dissertation fieldwork.
