Oscar Theodore Fernando Seranatne
Architecture student
Oscar Theodore Fernando Senaratne was born on 25th November 1890. He was from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) where he studied at the Prince of Wales College. He studied at UCL from 1921 to 1923 at the Faculty of Arts, studying architecture. Courses taken included building construction and town planning. He lived at 22 Brondesbury Road, Kilburn, NW6 in 1921 and 79 Fordwych Road, NW2 in 1922. Whilst a student he played cricket for London University.
In 1938 The Journal of the Chartered Surveyors’ Institution thanked various people for their services in connection with the 1938 Professional Examinations including Mr O.T.F. Senaratne of Ceylon.
