A symposium held in association with BASA. 1919 saw some of the worst race riots in 20th-century Britain. This symposium was an opportunity for scholars to come together and discuss future research avenues and the possibilities of funding new research projects in the lead-up to a major conference to mark the 100th anniversary of the riots in 2019.
