At the ECRC, we understand that active engagement in research is crucial to learning.
In line with UCL’s connected curriculum policies, our research staff and PhD students are closley invovled in Departmental teaching at both the undergraduate and taught postgraduate level.

Taught Postgraduate Courses
Members of the ECRC teach the following MSc courses run by the department:

Undergraduate Courses
ECRC academic staff contribute to the BA Geography and BSc Geography degrees offered by the Department.
Fieldwork
Members of the ECRC run and contribute to undergraduate field trips:
- First-year - Catalonia: Getting to Grips with Geography
- Second year - Mallorca: Physical Geography in the Real World
- Third year - Lesvos: Reading the Mediterranean Landscape
Fieldwork is also a key component of a number of MSc modules
