China’s Internal Motives and Dynamics Behind Its Agricultural Investments in Brazil

Tomaz Fares is a political economist and lecturer at the University of York. He holds a PhD in Development Studies from SOAS, University of London, and a master’s degree in history from Peking University. As a Brazilian scholar with seven years of experience living in China, Tomaz has produced pioneering research on China’s agribusiness internationalisation and state analysis, with his work published in leading world journals.
