Do you have an idea for a social enterprise? Has your research given you an idea for a product, service or business? How can you transform your ideas into action? And how can they get the greatest societal impact?

UCL Innovation and Enterprise and the Faculty of Social and Historical Sciences have organised a series of free workshops on starting your own social enterprise.

Bringing together UCL Innovation & Enterprise, UCLB, UCLC, with the expertise of consultants and specialists in different sectors, these 4 workshops will guide you from idea to prototype and show how others have built and grown social enterprises to benefit society and well being. The programme is specifically conceived for SHS and SLASH academics and research students. The workshops will help you understand how to increase the impact of your research and apply it in potentially new areas. The 4 workshops will be held on site at UCL and online so you can participate even if you can’t make it in person.
It doesn't matter what stage you are at or if you don't have an idea, join us to explore the possibilities and come up with an idea. So sign up via Eventbrite to join a cohort of like-minded colleagues; see what social potential your ideas have and get advice, guidance and mentoring from experts.

The workshops will be held on Wednesday from 12:30 to 14:30 ( lunch will be provided) at the Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) South Wing, Wilkins Building, University College London. Please sign up for ALL 4 workshops.

You only need to book for the first session as your booking will count for all four sessions. Session 2 is a drop-in optional session to get tailored advice.
