UCL Economics launches Econ Brief; a new research website
On 17 March, UCL Economics launches Econ Brief, a new website showcasing cutting-edge research by UCL economists – including economic theory, methods, education, data, empirics and policy design.
Updated weekly, the new resource will present clear analysis and accessible insights into the economic and social forces shaping public debate and decision-making in households, organisations and government.
The site launched with 20 articles covering a wide range of topics, including pay, prices, productivity, taxes, pensions, jobs, business, finance, technology, health, education, immigration, race, climate change, social networks and civil society.
Commenting on the launch, Fabien Postel-Vinay, Head of the Department of Economics, said:
The launch of Econ Brief marks an exciting step for our department. It provides a platform where our faculty, PhD candidates and visiting researchers can share ideas that push the boundaries of economic thinking. I’m delighted to see the groundbreaking research and education material developed at UCL Economics reach an even wider audience.
