Meet the two Programme Directors for MSc Data Science and Public Policy
Professor Dennis Kristensen
Dennis Kristensen is a professor in the Department of Economics. Before joining UCL, he worked at Columbia University and University of Wisconsin. He obtained his PhD in Economics at the London School of Economics in 2004. Dennis Kristensen’s research interests include econometric theory, financial econometrics, computational methods in economics and applied microeconomics.

Dr Moritz Marbach
Moritz Marbach is an Associate Professor in Data Science & Public Policy in the Department of Political Science and an affiliated faculty member with the Immigration Policy Lab at Stanford University and ETH Zurich. Before joining UCL in 2022, he was an Assistant Professor at The Bush School of Government & Public Service, Texas A&M University. Moritz Marbach’s research focuses on migration policy and politics. He is a member of the National Statistician’s Advisory Panel on Migration Statistics in the United Kingdom and frequently collaborates with governments and non-profit organisations.
