While many of the Constitution Unit’s projects focus on particular institutions, some cover the entire constitutional landscape.
Several of our earliest projects looked at constitutional reform across a broad canvas. Our more recent, and biggest, projects have sought to inform public debate about constitutional principles and the health of democracy and examine attitudes towards democracy in the UK.
Constitutional Principles and the Health of Democracy
A project seeking to inform debate about UK democracy and constitutional change and to promote the importance of maintaining constitutional and democratic standards since 2022.
Democracy in the UK after Brexit
A project using opinion polling and a citizens' assembly to examine public attitudes to democracy in the UK. The project ran between 2021 and 2023.
