Ariel Yuan

President

Hi, I’m this year’s society president Ariel, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. We’ve got a fantastic committee and are officially re-affiliated with the SU. Plans are already in motion, including launching a society blog, Paper Galleries. I’m also in touch with the English Society about hosting a joint ball, with hopes of making it a tradition. Finally, I invite alumni in academia or the arts to connect with us, share their experiences, and offer advice to our students.

My name is Sofiia, Sonya for short! I am a Philosophy and History of Art student. My interest in both of my disciplines centre around religion and the human body. I also enjoy performance art and the critical theory around it. As part of my Vice President role in the History of Art society, I aim to continue building a strong sense of community around our department as well as expanding our wider network across UCL!

Anna Wu

Social Secretary

My name is Anna Wu, and I’m a third year undergraduate studying History of Art. I will be the society’s Social Secretary, which I’m really looking forward to, especially since it’s my first committee role! My role will be to manage the social media accounts and advertising the society and our events. From uploading posts, promotional information, and most importantly engaging students within the department. I hope to increase engagement for the society, both digitally and in person.
