SHULGI: A Geospatial Tool for Modelling Human Movement and Interaction
This transportation modeling project focused on creating a geospatial simulation environment for understanding movement in modern and ancient urban landscapes.
Case study results have focused on the ancient city of Kerkenes Dag, which was a 1st millennium BC city in central Anatolia. This study integrated both modelling techniques with fieldwork methodology for recovering data that has since validated modelling results for Kerkenes Dag.
