Whether it's digging, washing finds, or any other kind of voluntary activity, we post any news of volunteer opportunities to our ASE Community Newsletter. Sign up now!
Interested in an archaeological career? Each year we have a very small number of work experience places for school and college students. Recent students have had the chance to try out osteoarchaeology, illustration, finds washing, archaeobotany, and loads more. Our work experience program is supported by ASE's Learning Framework and defined learning objectives.
If you’re interested in doing work experience with ASE speak with your school and/or email ase-public-engagement@ucl.ac.uk. Please note we have very limited places available and they fill up quickly.
We're also available to attend school careers fairs to talk about archaeological careers. Email us if that's something you'd like to discuss.
If you represent a community looking to develop partnerships with ASE, contact us on ase-public-engagement@ucl.ac.uk. In the past we have worked with local artists, U3A groups, youth organisations and more.
