Trajetórias-UCL Funding Programme
In 2025, we signed an agreement with Instituto Trajetórias to support talented Brazilian students in pursuing master’s degrees at UCL Institute of the Americas.
Under this agreement, starting in 2026, eligible students and public servants will receive a 20% tuition fee reduction when admitted to any of our postgraduate taught programmes. Instituto Trajetórias also offer financial assistance via scholarships and loans as part of this programme.
Eligible programmes are:
- International Development in the Americas, MSc
- International Relations of the Americas, MSc
- Latin American Studies: History, Politics and Society, MA
- United States Studies: History and Politics, MA
This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering global academic collaboration and providing opportunities for outstanding students from Brazil.

The Miller Bursary
Due to the generous donation from Professor Nicola Miller and match funding from the Institute of the Americas we are able to offer one £6,750 bursary towards tuition fees for any of the Master’s Programmes taught at the Institute of the Americas. This scheme is only open to Home/UK fee status applicants. The award will be made based on both financial need and academic merit.
