Nick is Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social and Historical Sciences and Professor of American Studies at the UCL Institute of the Americas. An interdisciplinary Area Studies researcher, his published work and teaching in History focuses on the United States but is transnational in focus and draws on concepts and theories from Literary Studies, Cultural Studies, and Sociology, amongst other disciplines.
