Funding opportunities available for prospective students interested in doctoral training in biosocial research.

The Soc-B Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) has evolved into three distinct pathways/themes within the following Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTP): 

Each pathway/theme offers +3.5-year studentships. You can find more information on the UBEL and NWSSDTP biosocial research pathways below. 

UBEL DTP: PhD Studentships on Biosocial Research Pathway

Based at UCL, this pathway welcomes PhD topics that combine social and biological components from a range of disciplinary perspectives, including but not limited to lifecourse research and social epidemiology, psychobiology, 'omnics research, neuroscience, ageing and research. NWSSDTP: PhD Studentships on Biosocial Research Pathway

The Biosocial Research Pathway of NWSSDTP is available at the University of Manchester, University of Liverpool, Lancaster University and Keele.
