Susan Collins: Introduction

This week is about providing a cultural snapshot. Interactivity and conversation around its definition in the years to come will seem completely preposterous in the same way as the discussion of use of audio recorders, telephone or television seems so now. It will fragment into its natural component parts. However, we are at a watershed period where the component parts of interactivity will be discussed largely with people who are not artists, but people of disciplines as diverse as anatomy, psychology, computer science and architecture will be involved.
