This inaugural Slade Print Fair was an initiative to fund scholarships to support students embarking on studies at the Slade School of Fine Art and featured prints and multiples by Slade alumni, staff and current students. It launched our new online platform Slade Editions with a new work by Phyllida Barlow and also featured prints generously donated by internationally acclaimed artists including David Batchelor, Bernard Cohen, Dan Coombs, Phil Coy, Richard Deacon, Angela de la Cruz, Laura Ford, Kirsten Glass, Tim Head, Susan Hiller, John Hilliard, Tess Jaray, Stanley Jones, Hew Locke, Michael Craig-Martin, Bruce McLean, Julian Opie, Sarah Pucill, Paula Rego, Bartolomeu dos Santos, Sarah Staton, Amikam Toren, Alison Wilding and Paul Winstanley. All of the contemporary work donated by invited artists is for sale in an online auction. The online auction began on Saturday 23 November and continues to Saturday 7 December at 8pm.

Print Fair Events

The Slade Print Fair is proposed as an annual event, launching this year, to raise scholarship funds for Slade students. We plan to invite different groups of invited artists, including our esteemed Slade Alumni, to support the future of Slade students by giving a print to be sold by online auction at the Slade Print Fair in the coming years.
