As a Latin American sculptor based in London, my work is a study in texture, form, and the inherent beauty of impermanence. Drawing inspiration from the Brazilian philosophy of Gambiarra, which celebrates improvisation and resourcefulness, I explore the various compositions of precariousness and ephemerality. Through my sculptures, I repurpose and reuse materials to showcase their versatility and potential, experimenting with a range of materials such as wire, fabric, latex, wax, and beads. Organic forms and texture play a key role in my work, as does the use of vibrant colors and hand-made techniques.
