Born in Osijek, Croatia, 1995.

I am a multidisciplinary artist interested in culture, geopolitics and issues of social injustice. Led by research, I explore the political in popular culture and society. My work is informed both by my upbringing in the East, which was rural and predicated on feeling, and my comparatively cold, cosmopolitan lifestyle in the West. In this series of works, rational technology meets deep trauma and strong expressions of emotions. I use deepfakes to explore my personal and cultural world without the emotions that have guided me, and us, this far. The inability of artificial intelligence to reproduce human emotions allows for the examination of what humans would be without them.
