My practice comprises both collaborative work in the duo Boon & Baum and my solo work. My independent practice uses clothing and the act of dressing to explore identity as an embodied social process. Using performance, participatory situations, film and installation, I explore the digital screen as another form of fabric. Drawing a parallel between the role of garments and images as archives, I explore the ‘wearing’ of images to unfold personal relationships, histories and memories. As Boon & Baum, we investigate the relationship between clothing and architecture, dressing architectural structures to explore our interactions in social spaces.
