Wren predominantly works with a community to create collaborative art. They believe that art has a huge potential to create social gains in culture and wellbeing and so they place a larger value on the creation and interaction of art than the consumption alone. To encourage viewer interaction, Wren often builds a framework for viewers to fill with their own creations, making the viewer integral for the piece to exist. They rely on an interest in space, colour and movement to encourage engagement. In Wren’s own work, they attempt to close the border between life and art, often crafting with everyday materials, or placing value in everyday motions.
