Fiza Ghauri – BA/BFA
My work explores the metaphysical through materiality as a device of landscaping and portrait. The material surfaces are site-specific expressed through pictorial and sculptural abstraction. They examine ideas around migration, movement, manifestation, material consciousness and processing. I am inspired by Ananda Coomaraswamy's and Jesse Murry's writings.
