Matthew Jarron is Museum Curator at the University of Dundee where he has responsibility for the University of Dundee's historic collections of art and artefacts. These include natural history specimens, scientific instruments, medical equipment, fine art and design furniture. He is currently building a collection of art inspired by the work of D'Arcy Thompson, whose Zoology Museum is part of Dundee's collection, and whose writings such as Growth and Form impacted the work of artists including Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, Jackson Pollock and Richard Hamilton.
