I’m Really Sick Of This Place

Biography: I am an artist, writer, researcher and curator, born and raised in North London now living between London and Stockholm.

Before embarking upon my PhD in 2018, I was Assistant Curator and then Curator of Early Years and Families Learning Programme at Tate Modern and Tate Britain. Previous to this, I was Artist Development Coordinator at SPACE, a not-for-profit artist project space and artist studio provider.

I have tried throughout my career to focus upon making the visual arts as accessible to as many people as possible, and I have strived in my different roles to always consider this aim in practical, emotional and theoretical terms. Many times I have been wrong, failed, fucked up. As an artist, scholar and artist educator, I have been invited to contribute to programme at Tate, Whitechapel Gallery, Wellcome Collection, South London Gallery as well as Goldsmiths College (UoL), University of Oxford, Birkbeck College (UoL), the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) and the Courtauld Institute of Art. Internationally, I have presented my practice and facilitated sessions at Penny W. Stamps School of Art (University of Michigan), Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Queens Museum New York, Modern Dance Theater Stockholm, Karlstad University and Stockholm University of the Arts.
