Jacqui Poncelet
Jacqui Poncelet established herself as a major figure in the international ceramics scene during the late 1970’s and I980’s before diversifying her practice to work in a wide range of media including painting, sculpture and textiles, as well as public commissions one of which was a series wool blankets produced for the Tate with Merlin Tregwynt.

She also works as a curator, having been a selector for the British Art Show and Pattern Crazy. She continues to work across and explore new fields.
She has recently completed a major public commission “ Wrapper” at Edgware Road tube station which is the largest vitreous enamel artwork in Europe. Jacqui Poncelet’s diverse and rich practice is bound by her continuing concern and her exploration of pattern.
