Since the late 1960s Bruce McLean has employed a range of media to consider ‘the condition of sculpture,’ exploring the limits of what a sculpture can be. One of the founders of ‘Nice Style’ the worlds first pose band. He won the John Moore’s painting prize in 1985.
Bruce McLean has exhibited and made live works in galleries and museums worldwide, and has works in major public and private collections throughout the world. He is a former Head of Graduate Painting and Emeritus Professor of the Slade School of Fine Art.
