This period of work is skilfully and humorously titled. Bike seats are the main crux of these pieces, but I see a journey, from A to B, sitting down going many miles, and then the reverse, the sofa which doesn't go anywhere, immobolised, stagnant. I used household materials in order to appear homely, down to earth. I am interested in products and culture, displacing and re-inventing their status.
