Day 1: Storytelling Essentials  

• Introduction to the importance of storytelling in filmmaking
• Understanding story structure, character development, and plot  
• Practical exercises to develop compelling story ideas 

Day 2: Producing / Directing  

• Overview of preproduction processes and its significance  
• Script breakdowns, storyboarding, and shot lists  
• Budgeting and scheduling considerations  
• Fundamentals of film direction  
• Blocking and staging scenes effectively 

Day 3: Cinematography  

• Introduction to camera equipment and terminology  
• Framing, composition, and camera movement  
• Lighting techniques and their impact on storytelling  
• Hands-on exercises to practice basic cinematography skills 

Day 4: Sound  

• Importance of sound design in filmmaking
• Basics of recording and editing sound
• Practical shooting exercise 

Day 5: Postproduction

• Overview of the postproduction process
• Introduction to editing software
• Hands-on editing exercises
