Colour for Painters (Advanced Evening Course)

  • 2.5 hours per week
  • 8 weeks

This eight-week course will help you develop a more critical understanding of colour and its applications in relation to your own work.

It'll introduce you to the theory of colour through practical demonstrations, discussions and creative projects.

You'll explore different approaches to colour by examining a variety of colour systems and terminology based on artistic and scientific theories.

You'll also explore different methods and materials, applying these to your own projects, and experiment with mixed media.

Classes are held on Thursday evenings, from 6pm to 8:30pm.

This course is run by the Slade School of Fine Art at UCL.
