Human Resources Organisational Unit

UCL's HR division have both corporate and operational responsibilities in developing, supporting and maintaining a wide of employee related policies, procedures and systems. They provision a range of services to managers and individual members of staff.

  • Departmental Administrators Module (DAM)
    The Departmental Administrative Module provides HR Reports from the HR and Payroll database with data for existing and previous employees.

  • HR Partnership Applications
    The HR Partnership Applications are a group of applications that provide support for departments.

  • Job Evaluation Database (JED)
    JED is a tool for grading jobs at UCL based on the job evaluation scheme, HERA (Higher Education Role Analysis) and a resource to store Job Description Outlines (JDOs) submitted from April 2011

  • Learning Event Recording System (LERS)
    All UCL training providers input records of training undertaken, to enable a comprehensive record of staff training and development completed by UCL staff.

  • MyView
    MyView is an online application which allows UCL employees to view their HR record.

  • Professorial Appraisal Review
    The Professorial Appraisal Review system (PAR) allows members of the UCL professoriate to complete their appraisal online using a web browser.

  • ROME
    The UCL online recruitment system (ROME) support vacancies, job applications, shortlisting, interview outcomes, candidate progression and the registration of appointed staff.

  • Redeployment - Search Redeployment
    The Redeployment System is for recruiting managers who are required to inspect and consider CVs in the redeployment system before proceeding to advertisement.

  • Redeployment - Your Profile
    The Redeployment System is for employees who are reaching the end of their contracts and would like to be redeployed within UCL.

  • ResourceLink
    The application is used for: processing HR records; processing the UCL Payroll; training data; MyView Employee and Manager Self Service.

    The Senior Academic Promotions System is a web based system that allows academic staff to submit applications for the annual Academic Senior Promotions exercise.

    SiP
    The Service in Partnership system (SiP) is a workflow tool used by departments, Finance and Human Resources to support employment contract administration.

  • Single Training Booking System
    The Single Training Booking System for course booking provides a resource for staff to book their training irrespective of the training provider.
