System overview

The Professorial Appraisal Review system (PAR) allows members of the UCL professoriate to complete their appraisal online. To aid preparation, the appraisees has a snapshot of the period since the last appraisal which shows the following details: research grant information from the Financial Information System (FIS); publications stored in the Research Publications System (RPS); research students recorded in the students information system, Portico; learning events recorded in HR systems.

Registration requirements

- PAR is only accessible by Heads of Departments, Deans and Professors. A valid UCL User ID and Password to access the system is required.

System requirements

- HTML-based website

- PAR should be accessed using Internet Explorer (IE6 or higher) in a Windows environment.
