FIS System


System overview

FIS is UCL's Financial Information System. It is used to process and capture a wide range of finance data to facilitate financial management at UCL. FIS is used to process and authorise the purchase and payment for goods and services (including electronic ordering and invoicing) and expense claims; processing sales transactions, cash management, managing Research Grants and Contracts; Estates and Facilities procurement, accounting for capital projects and for financial reporting.

Registration requirements
- All staff have FIS access to the iExpenses module only by default. Honorary staff, or PhD students that are also active UCL employees, can also use the iExpenses system by applying for access.

- HTML-based website, compatible with most modern browsers.

services@UCL uses them to keep track of the systems you use, in order to maintain your Recently Used list, both now and for future visits.

The information is only used to personalise your home screen and information is not passed between browsers. All other uses of collected data (e.g. improving search results, usage reports/analytics) employ aggregated, anonymous data.

Depending on your browser settings, the cookies required to manage your Recently Used list have already been set. You can remove or block them via your browser but this will prevent that feature from working.
