Medicine & Regulation

Changes in the structure of Britain’s National Health Service at a time of rapidly shifting demographics and economic climates necessitate a powerful collaborative effort in understanding how people access care, construct health, and develop paths to well-being. In its work in the area of Medicine and Regulation, the UCL Science, Medicine and Society Network aims to create a greater understanding of the consequences, both positive and negative, of how new therapies are reported, marketed and regulated, by supporting research that can rapidly inform models of healthcare provision to improve lives and address dynamic domains of illness.
