We are collecting birthday message from across our community to share with the NHS.

Professor Usha Menon, EGA Institute for Women's Health

How does your research impact the NHS?

We are working to improve outcomes in women with ovarian cancer. A key focus is large screening trials aimed at diagnosing the disease earlier. If we are able to save lives, then our work will be the basis of a national ovarian cancer screening programme.

What does the NHS mean to you?

It embodies the principles of equity, kindness and dedication to patients.

What is your birthday message to the NHS?

What you do and the solace you provide in the most difficult of times must endure.

How to take part

Share your birthday message for the NHS and tell us what the NHS means to you using the hashtag #ucllovesnhs on social media or emailing Alice Ferns with your responses to the questions above.
