The Bloomfield Scholarship aims to support UK domiciled students with Home fee status in financial need to pursue an undergraduate degree in BFA Fine Art at UCL.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates must:
- be domiciled in the UK with Home fee status;
- be in financial need
- hold an offer of admission for BFA Fine Art for the 2025/26 intake.
Value, benefits, and duration
The award provides £25,000 per year for three years and is subject to satisfactory academic progress. The award will be applied to cover tuition fees in the first instance, with remainder payable as maintenance.
Two awards are available.
Selection
The criterion for awarding the scholarship is financial need and you will need to demonstrate this in the application.

The Bloomfield Scholarship is one of the schemes that make up the Undergraduate Funding and Access Awards (UGFA).

Results
The scholarship will be awarded by recommendation by a panel composed of UCL staff. The successful candidates will be notified as soon as decisions are made by the department of Slade.
