Management oversight
The GMBSSC will provide management oversight through the monitoring of key performance indicators.
Key performance indicators
Key performance indicators will include:
- The Biological Safety Oficer's report, which will highlight key activities to the WHSC covering the quarter proceeding the meeting, and will consist of 2 tables:
- Risk assessments and HSE notifications. This will contain information on the number of summitted risk assessments, approvals, requirements for approval by the GMBSSC, HSE notifications applied for and the reference of the consent letter when received.
- Other HSE communications.
- Hign containment level incidents and investigations.
- Oversight activities, including audits, information, summaries and reports of all high containment level audits, and the audit schedule, will be recorded and made available to the committee upon request.
- Any other significant information.
- Propose, develop, monitor and report on the implementation and effectiveness of UCL’s Health and Safety Policy with respect to the work activities covered in the scope (biological safety).
