Safety Services is pleased to announce that it will be hosting an in-person Departmental Safety Officer Forum. If you are a DSO, please join us at this exclusive event dedicated to enhancing your skills and knowledge in the field of safety management at UCL. The DSO Forum will provide an opportunity for you to learn about the work the Safety Services team is doing, ask any questions you may have and network with your colleagues.

10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Registration and networking
- Grab your name tag, meet fellow attendees, and enjoy some refreshments as you network with DSOs from other faculties and departments.
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Welcome and introduction
- Dr Patrick Ward outlines a strategic approach to improving safety for UCL.
11:00 AM - 11:45 AM: How the Estates strategy responds to our Health and Safety challenges
- Ian Dancy, Executive Director of Operations, will be speaking about the Estates Strategy, recently approved by Council, and how it links to our Health and Safety agenda.
11:45 AM - 12:30 PM: Verature, a new contractor management system
- Join Philippa Johnston on the importance of an effective contractor management system in estates operations.
- Enjoy a live demonstration of the Verature Contractor Management System.
12:30 PM - 1.30 PM: Lunch break
- Enjoy a delicious catered lunch while continuing conversations with colleagues and speakers.
1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: T100 case study
- Dr Ralph Hick tells us about the Department of Chemical Engineering's journey to T100 Level 1.
- Hear about their experiences and the challenges faced and discover best practices to apply in your own department.
2:00 PM - 2:45 PM: Improvements to T100
- Portia Lamb updates us on the latest developments, enhancements, and future roadmap of the T100 tool.
- Learn about the resources available and how you can get support.
2:45 PM - 3:00 PM: Closing remarks
- Concluding remarks from Dr Patrick Ward summarising key takeaways from the day's discussions.
