UCL Mandatory requirements when working with Artificial Optical Radiation

1. Heads of Department must appoint a Laser Safety Officer if Class 3 and above lasers are in use.

2. The risk assessment for all laser work must be recorded using the riskNET specilalist risk area assessment form.
