Blog Editor 

The Department is seeking a new Blog Editor to join the Communications team. PhD students and research staff on part-time contracts are encouraged to apply.

The role involves reading and editing proposed RDR staff and student blog contributions and managing the administration of the blog system, including granting access and problem-solving. The editor is also responsible for commissioning blog submissions amongst staff and students and identifying future blog themes.

The time commitment is up to two hours a week; however, some months are quieter than others. The role is paid on an hourly basis through Unitemps, starting from £15.37 per hour depending on experience.

The successful candidate will need to: 

  • Have excellent written English, great punctuation and spelling skills, and keen attention to detail 
  • Be registered with Unitemps
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have a UK bank account
