Introductory moodle

A short video and accompanying moodle provides a brief training opportunity to introduce you to UCL's Bibliometrics Policy.

UCL training sessions in bibliometrics and responsible use

UCL Library Services ordinarily offers training on bibliometrics as part of some scheduled doctoral student and researcher skills training programmes. These sessions look at the use of bibliometrics as a measure of the impact of articles, journals or authors, including journal impact factors and h-index.

Note: Due to Covid-19, prerecorded course material can be found on moodle.

Sessions may also be arranged on demand. Contact bibliometrics@ucl.ac.uk for more information or to make an appointment.

Training for administrators and managers

UCL subscribes to the "InCites" analysis tool to access, analyse, and visualise data to help benchmark research productivity and performance, and investigating external collaborators, for individuals, departments, faculties, schools and the university. Prerecorded training is available to researchers and administrative staff. Sessions may also be arranged on demand (please email: bibliometrics@ucl.ac.uk).
