UCL has a large and active community of researchers working in personalised medicine, which includes over 750 Researchers and 11 Fellows of the Academy of Medical Sciences.

Personalised medicine research encompasses a very wide spectrum of research activities from across many disciplines that are working towards using knowledge of genetics to tailor medical treatment for individuals during all stages of care, including prevention, diagnosis and treatment based on individual's biological data, needs and preferences.
