Social Science Plus
The domain facilitates collaborative research via its Social Science Plus funding scheme.  The scheme is competive and annually funds two or three cross-disciplinary pilot projects (each up to £10,000), led by a UCL social scientist, that will lay the basis for a major funding application.  Find out more about external funding opportunities via UCL's subscription to RESEARCHconnect (use the ‘Log In via institution’ button to select UCL, and use your UCL user name and password).

Demand management processes
Sometimes external funders limit the number of applications that an institution can submit for a particular funding call.  This requires applications to undergo an internal review and approval process before submission.  The Domain has managed a number of internal demand management processes for ESRC Research Centres/Large Grants.
