Changes to the award should be made in consultation with the staff in Research Services, in writing to the funder (email with back-up documentation) or through the UKRI JeS system Grant Maintenance or Student Data Portal as appropriate.
The funder does not normally authorise back-dated requests. Failure to properly notify Research Services and the funder of changes to the studentship could result in the incurred costs falling upon the host department(s).
Disabled Students Allowance requests should be assessed and managed through the Student Disability Services. They will then arrange annually to add this to the appropriate UKRI Training Grant through the Grant Maintenance module within the UKRI JeS web portal.
The funds are made available to the student by UCL immediately following assessment and approval.
