In 2025 UCL Special Collections celebrates 60 years of collecting small press publications and alternative presses.
Join us for a day mimeo printing, talks, and panel discussion, and see some of the amazing items from our collections. This event also launches the special issue of Textual Practice on Little Magazines and the Mimeograph Revolution, co-edited by Douglas Field and James Riley, which features articles by today's speakers.
This will be a face to face event at the Common Ground, Institute of Advanced Studies, UCL (this space offers step-free access, and is wheelchair accessible).
The event is free and open to all, but booking is essential for the panel discussion, mimeo worshop round-up, and the performance (i.e. sessions starting at 15:30). All morning and early afternoon sessions are drop-in and do not require registration.
