Collaboration agreements

Collaboration agreements will be required for projects involving at least one other external research collaborator on a project.

If an element of an award is to be allocated to an external third party, whether a company, a charity, a government body, or another Higher Education Institution, please submit a Worktribe Contract Request as soon as possible. For more information visit Contract Services

Contract Services will arrange for the appropriate documentation to be sent to the third party informing them of budget details, invoicing instructions, terms and conditions of the award etc.

Collaborator invoices and statements of expenditure are managed by our Post-Award team however the PI or their delegate will be asked to authorise payment where they will be required to confirm work is progressing as expected and as far as they are aware the costs have been incurred in accordance with the agreement.
