European Research Management

ERIO's European Research Management team helps researchers access, apply for, and manage European Commission (EC) grants, making funding more accessible and boosting UCL’s European research portfolio.

Our ERIO European Research Management team support UCL researchers through every stage of the pre-award process, from initial discussions about calls and project budgets to negotiating Grant and Consortium Agreements. They assist with:

European Research Council (ERC) grants
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions
Proposals where UCL is a partner in a collaborative project
Applications for other EC-funded research activities, including COST, ECDC, and INTERREG directly funded research.

Electronic signatures

To meet EC requirements, our teams use DocuSign to sign European Union (EU) contracts and agreements. Wet signatures can only be used if specifically requested by the relevant funding body or agency. Where DocuSign cannot be used alternative electronic signature platforms can be considered upon request.
