Reading Recovery Celebrations Summer 2025

During the summer term, Reading Recovery professionals reviewed and celebrated the progress of children who have received additional support through Reading Recovery this year.

In every Reading Recovery lesson, children write stories and messages. To begin with, what is written is short and simple.  By the end of the lesson series, stories and messages are full of imagination and creativity.

Below, some children in Scotland have worked together to build a story so that they can share their excitement about creating stories with other people.
